I will call this finished for now.I'm still trying to figure out layered rendering and Alpha masks and boring stuff like that! It seems the more elements you have the more things can wrong. I am in danger of becoming obsessed,which is a thing I try not to do.....

Nice work Stu! I'm wicked obsessed with John Carpenter's The THING. I even own a lifesize sculpture of the " Splitface " creature. This is a real treat for me to see you bringing life to Mike Ploog's drawings. I LOVE what you've done so far. I hope you will do all of them at some point in the future? =D
